To earn the Ceramics and Clay badge offered to both Girl
Scouts and Boy Scouts, children must make a clay pot using
either coil or pinch techniques and discuss the history of
pottery, and learn about kilns.  A total of six activities are
covered in two 1-1.5 hour sessions to complete the
requirements for the badge.
A home for art is the perfect partner for this project.

Teacher Gifts:  Organize a gift for your favorite teacher!
Students can decorate a platter or other piece with designs
or handprints.
