Creating art is fun and exciting for individuals of all ages.  The benefits of having access
to art and the opportunity to create are infinite!  Art making helps to build self esteem,
creative thinking, and problem solving skills by utilizing art materials to enhance self-
expression.  In these classes, all students are allowed the freedom of expression through
non-product oriented art classes.  Process and a positive experience are paramount.   The
open format allows students the freedom to create individual pieces and at their own level
of expertise.  Students are gently guided with the information on proper technique and
appropriate use of materials.   Most of all the students will learn one more form of
expression and have tons of fun learning a new skill!

Group Lessons for ages 2.5-5 years:

Toddler Art/Music/Drama Time:  A Dynamic Trio of teachers will enhance your child's
spring through a variety of fine art experiences.  

With Emily and Aurelia we will be introducing your child to art in a playful learning
environment. Investigate line, shape, color, pattern, and texture through paint, collage,
textiles, etc.  Art Classes are based on a process oriented approach.

With Rudy we will be introducing your child to drama/literature/music through live play
with instruments, games, and storytelling.  I have seen first hand the benefits of good
old-fashioned storytelling versus watching television ad video.  My aim is to get
children to use their imaginations by getting them involved in listening and taking part in
telling the stories, encouraging them to in becoming part of the stories, help them to
develop and formulate better communication skills, posture, eye-contact, manners,
have the experience of working in groups and having fun in the process!
